Our Mission

The mission of the DFW Playwrights' Alliance is to act as an informal social network as well as a supportive community for the exchange of ideas, information and perspectives on the art and business of playwriting.

The DFW Playwrights' Alliance is open to playwrights based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area regardless of experience level.

DFWPA Reading Series: Our monthly staged reading continues with K(no)w by Troy Camplin.

Set in modern times using modern language, K(no)w is a new tale of temptation and redemption, whose structure and rhythm is inspired by traditional Japanese Noh plays.

CyberFest

CYBERFEST: Our first electronic new play festival. Beginning May 15th with performances May 29th and 30th. The shows were webcast into cyberspace where they were performed infront of both a live studio audience, and a live interactive virtual audience. The plays were:
